Mayvis Rebeira | PhD MA MBA BSc | Economist

Mayvis Rebeira is a health economist with over fifteen years of experience in government, biotechnology and pharma industries, medical devices and consulting in both Canada and the US. She obtained her Ph.D. in Health Economics from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto and holds a Master’s Degree in Economics also from University of Toronto. She has spearheaded economic evaluations of biotech drugs including orphan drugs, strategic drug pricing, market access, health policy development and numerous real-world analysis and cost-effectiveness projects for both the private and the public sectors.

Dr. Rebeira has published in the fields of health technology assessments (HTA), economic evaluations and health outcomes. Her current research interests include developing methodologies for evaluating value-for-money of new drugs and investigating macro-economic conditions on population health.
